The most important factor of Bennie's talk is to just start trying to communicate. It's fine to get something wrong, because there's always time and people/resources to help you make it right.

Bennie Lewis believes that one must speak the language to learn the language. He states that there is a different between "studying" a language and learning/speaking a language. It's not a black or white thing, no tests, no wrong ways - it's just the way people communicate. It won't be the end of the world because someone forgets to roll an r or pronounce something wrong. Someone will still understand where the person is getting at.

I think the TED video was very helpful on learning new languages. The man talked about not physicking yourself out when struggling to start learning. He also said not to just review vocabulary but actually start speaking and using the language. I think his suggestions will be very useful and reliable.

Throughout this video Benny tries to let people know that it's never too late to learn a language. He started when he was older and didn't think it was possible because he kept failing, and one day instead of just studying for 6 months he decided to start speaking the language and now he is somewhat fluent. I agree with Benny that it's never too late to start learning a language.

The speaker, Benny Lewis, believes that the most important factor in learning a language is actually speaking it. Although your vocabulary will be limited and your grammar not perfect, you get in the practice of using the language and you get used to it. The more you speak a language, the easier it is for you to learn that language. With different people you will talk about different things and therefore you will learn new vocabulary. Also, speakers more fluent than you will be willing to tell you how the grammar works, because you are taking the time to actually learn that language.

The speaker believes that the most important factor in learning a foreign language is to speak it. I do agree with the speaker because learning the language does involve the learner to talk the target language and not just learning the grammar. You can develop your language skills more by speaking it.

Benny Lewis thinks that the most important factor in learning a language is to speak it. Throughout the video he gives examples of his failures until he decides to start speaking the language in everyday life. He also says that in order to learn the language faster, you need to make connections with the words. I believe that speaking the language more and more would help develop my language skills. Also, making connections is one way to help improve memorization. Even in English, to learn vocabulary words, making connections with them are important. This same strategy will work in Italian. By making connections, you can learn quicker.

The TED talk guest arrived at an interesting conclusion; to learn a language one simply needs to speak it. I immediately made connections. For example, while watching sports my mother is constantly translating athletes last names. Although it is somewhat disruptive, I am always able to remember the meaning of the word because of it. Moreover, while traveling even for a short amount of time, it is easy to learn bits and pieces of the language with just little effort. Surely with a great amount of effort in speaking the language as much as possible, no matter how many mistakes, one can learn a language without the laborious task of studying.

The main topic that Benny focuses on is the fact that you cant just study a language to learn it you have to speak it. you have to use the people around you and the resources to help you better understand what your saying. Communication is key. I agree 100% with Bennie's talk i find that the more i talk to people who speak italian the more i understand. I can become better at my italian by talking to others who speak fluent italain.

The speak, Benny Lewis, in his lecture about learning new languages, urged the importance of actually using the language in your day to day life. I agree with this because I too find it easier to use a language in your life when you are trying to familiarize yourself with the vocabulary. While grammar exercises etc. are helpful for practice, there is no better way then to but the language into use. Benny Lewis also stressed how putting memorization of vocabulary to music can help with remembering. By using a tune that you are more used to, the words will stick in your mind better. Benny Lewis' ideas in language memorization were very helpful.

The speaker believes that the most important factor in learning a foreign language is to speak it. Language is about communication and if you spend your entire time learning a language in a book then you'll get nowhere. This makes sense, as reading or doing activities doesn't necessarily prepare you for speaking. By having conversations, you are exposing yourself to the language and will strengthen your language skills immensely. This includes learning Italian. If we are put together and asked to speak to one another, even if we don't know all of the words, we allow ourselves to improve on the language we're speaking.

The speaker believes that the most important factor in learning a foreign language is o stop making excuses. I agree with his statement because with making excuses, one believes they have justified heir reasoning as to why not learn. Starting out negative will have only a negative outcome. One cannot know if they can lean a language or no if hey do not try. You can develop language skills more by not being afraid to make grammatical mistakes, realizing that if you try to word your English sentence differently you may find the word in the language you are learning, and by speaking it more often.

The speaker of TED talk, Benny Lewis, gives a lot of information on what is needed when learning a new language and uses his personal experiences to encourage the audience that its not that hard. Lewis believes the most important factor in learning a foreign language is to have fun with it and don't study it, speak it. As a learner it's easier to say things out loud and use associations or visuals to help you remember the word than it is studying it and saying it in your head. I agree as a foreign language learner myself, it is more difficult when you are trying to remember a word from reading it in a book, then it is if you actually say it and practice it with people. My language skills can be developed more by practicing, and using associations with certain words, Like Lewis said. He gave an example for the word beach is Spanish, which sounds like player and he pictured it in his head so now every time he said the word he would imagine a player going up to girls at the beach, and know that the word was beach. I think by doing things like that my foreign language skills will improve.

The speaker of this presentation is Benny Lewis. He is explaining to his audience that we are currently not learning a language the correct way through his eyes and experience. He believes that the most efficient way to become fluent in a language is to speak it. You begin this process by not having any knowledge on vocabulary words or simple phrases. By speaking to many different people about many different topics you will eventually pick up many new vocabulary words and be able to put them together and understand sentences. This is an endless process because as you meet and talk to knew people, the more and more words you pick up on and remember them.

The speaker believes that the most important factor in learning a language is to actually communicate to people with the language, as opposed to learning and studying it from a textbook. He thinks getting a hands-on experience talking to a person in the language you are learning is a much better and easier way to learn it. I agree with his opinion on this matter, because learning something and applying it are two different things. You could learn all the languages you want, but in the end, you might not be able to use it correctly unless you try to talk to someone. In order to develop language skills more, one might try to have a conversation with somebody fluent in your desired language and then, he or she can tell you what you need to work on, and then the two of you could work together on the problem.

The Ted speaker, Benny Lewis, tells the audience of how to learn a language the correct way, or the correct way in his opinion. He says that people should not study the language, but speak it and encourages people who are learning languages to go out and speak it to people who know and understand the language even if your grammar is bad. he says that with only the few words you know you are bound to make mistakes when talking to the people, but that is ok because you will get better by making so many mistakes. He also says that associating a visual image with the words can help you to learn the language, but most important of all he says that learning a language should not be torture. if you want to learn a language then make it fun and enjoy it, and get the excuses out of your head. According to him these steps will let you become a speaker of the language which will then allow you to focus on the grammar afterwords.

Benny Lewis' TED talk had a few main points. First Benny claims that it is very important to try and speak the language to as many people as possible because this is how you will get better. Next, Benny claimed that the text books and grammar books do not help you to learn a language without trying to speak with others that already know the language. Benny says that even if you do not know the grammar or verb conjugations fluently, people will still understand you so it is important to try.

The TED video was very inspirational and interesting. I thought it was cool how he said he even had trouble speaking English as a child, but he pushed himself to learn more languages. Basically, the point was that the only way you could learn a new language effectively was to fully submerge yourself in it. No matter how many classes or programs you sign up for, nothing can compare to actually speaking it with others. He lived in Spain, so he was practically forced to learn the language. Most people think if you talk to locals and screw up the language, they'll be angry. He experienced the opposite. The locals actually encouraged him and were happy he put in the effort to learn Spanish. To conclude, as long as you are determined and willing to submerge yourself in a new language, it's possible to achieve.

Benny Lewis believes the most important factor in learning a new language is actually using the language. I agree with Benny, In order to learn, you must apply. If you take an English to Spanish dictionary and try and learn the language from that with out actually speaking you wont be able to. If we were taught as children only how to read we would not be able to effectively use the language when we get older, that is why we learn how to talk before we read. Benny also points out how negativity will not help the cause. If you go into something thinking you wont be able to do it youre more than likely going to fail. I can develop my skills by at least attempting to speak the language inside the class but to get best results i should take the language outside the class.

The speaker of TED was very inspirational and compassionate about learning new languages. Benny Lewis thinks that communication is an important skill to have. He thinks that the best way to learn a new language isn't by studying books or paying for expensive classes, but by speaking the language. Benny says to associate different words and images while learning new words to help you remember them. Also, he says that you should expect to make a lot of mistakes, but you can learn from your mistakes and improve in time.

The speaker of this TED talk was very insightful and I agree with many of the messages he conveyed. HE taught hat learning a language is not about studying the language, but about "speaking" the language. He feels that living in the language is the best way to learn it and learn the way of life of the people that speak it. I feel that I could use the techniques he described to further improve my Italian speaking ability. I feel that being able to speak the language is something I need to work on more and by using Benny's methods i feel i could greatly improve.

I think that he is totally right about making mistakes. Just the fact that you are making the effort to try to speak the language shows that you are determined to correct yourself and to become a better speaker in the future. I also agree that people are scared to speak a new language in front of a native because they will be offended that you are butchering their language. The fear of sounding dumb I feel, keeps people from trying to speak the new language. I think that people will understand where you are coming from and will help you to speak the language better.

Benny believes that the key to becoming fluent in a new language is immersion without restriction. He says you must allow yourself to attempt to speak the language without fear of embarrassment or failure. I agree that a classroom is not the best setting to truly learn the ins and outs of a language, in order to fully develop the skills needed to learn a language you must surround yourself with that language.

Benny Lewis believes that being able to communicate in any language while trying to learn it. I agree that communication is key. Even if you don't have the entire language down, you can still communicate with words and even hand gestures. Benny Lewis said its okay if you make mistakes because there will always be people to help you along with expensive and in expensive resources.

Benny encourages his viewers to immerse themselves in language instead of just learning the picky details of it. By doing so, the person trying to learn the language will be better off and gain more experience. It is an interesting perspective, as most people tend to focus on learning languages in a classroom rather than immersing themselves in it. It was also interesting to hear his thoughts on how other people native o the language you are learning will be excited to hear that you are trying to learn a new language rather than thinking English is the only language that matters.

The speaker believed that the most important thing in learning a language is to not study it but to give yourself helpful hints to remember words and phrases. I agree with this because I know people who live in a country and are amerced in the language become fluent within months rather than sitting in a classroom and learning it. People who amerce themselves in a language get to talk to people who speak that language, read, write, and speak all the time in that language. The speaker has a good idea of how to learn a new language.

Benny Lewis believes that the most important factor when trying to learn a language is trying to speak the language and not trying to study the language. making an effort to talk, even if you make mistakes, is more important than trying to learn everything and having a hard time. i agree because it is not always the best thing to study the ins and outs of a language when immersing yourself and speaking it is much more effective. if i do my best to speak the language and make the necessary mistakes i feel that i will also improve my language skills

The Ted talks video was all about communication of people. He said that it is important to study a language, but it is even more important to speak a language. Even if your grammar is off, the other person will understand what you are saying and you will be able to communicate with that person. I would agree that it is important to speak and use a language.

Benny believes that one of the most important factors in learning a foreign language is to stop making excuses to why you cant, and just speak it. The only factor holding someone back from speaking a foreign language is the belief that they are incapable of doing so. He believes that being able to speak multiple languages opens up a whole new world to individuals and everyone should take the opportunity to do so.

Ted states that the most important part in learning a new foreign language is to speak it. Do not be afraid to make mistakes, actually when learning, try to make mistakes. This will help you deepen your understanding of the language and make you realize what you did wrong in order to fix it. I need to keep speaking Italian daily, making mistakes and correcting them. I will be fluent in no time :D

The speaker of TED Talk encouraged people of all ages to learn new languages. He explained how a new language should not be intimidating, and how learning a new language can open up our eyes to different cultures. The speaker explained how learning a new language is not hard if you are willing to put forth hard work and effort. He said the best way to learn a new language is by immersing yourself in the language and actually speaking it. Simply studying the grammar of the language in school is not beneficial if you don't actually try to speak the language. When I visited my family in Italy I noticed an improvement in speaking Italian because I was fully immersed in the language and forced to speak it in order to communicate. I agree with the speaker of this TED Talk and would love to learn more languages so I can expand my knowledge of the world. Like the speaker said, English is not the only language, so people need to stop being close-minded and learn more languages.

In the video, Bennie Lewis believes that to learn a language, you must speak the language. Instead of studying the grammar, Bennie says to interact and live with the language, to make it a apart of everyday life and use it as much as possible. Some of his helpful hints to learning a language include making up songs, use words you know and associate words with imagery in your head. I agree with this style of learning. I think the more you use the language or try to use it, in an interesting way then you can feel comfortable with it.

The speaker of TED, Benny Lewis, was a very motivating individual and well spoken. He believes that the most important thing to learning a foreign language is yourself. What I mean by this is he thinks without personal motivation to learn the language everyday then you will get no where. You have to tell yourself to start today and not at some point. I agree with what he is saying completely because without motivation there is no will to learn. I can learn more by putting in maximum effort everyday in class.

Some of the major points in the video were that people need to stop making excuses because he thought that he had the best excuses in the book and he still learned a language. Another major point was that he decided to just speak the language and discovered that it was the bast ways to actually become apart of it. I can start asking my grandmother and other relatives that were born in Italy and speak Italian fluently to only speak Italian when i am around and I communicate back to them the best i can in Italian and I should eventually learn the language and be comfortable with it.

In this TED talk, Bennie Lewis emphasizes the importance of learning new languages and using them to communicate with people and cultures around the world. Bennie states that the most important factor in learning a language is speaking it. Studying will help, but if you only sit and study a language for hours on end without actually applying it to conversations then you will not make much progress. You may not think you know many words or vocabulary from the target language, but if you revert back to english or your first language than you can find cognates that will help you to come up with the right vocab. Bennie Lewis presents his viewers with studying and memorization techniques as well as a positive perspective on learning a foreign language.

The speaker Benny Lewis believes that the most important factor to learn a language is to speak it to another person that is fluent in that specific language. I agree with his belief because it allows the learner to experience locations in which the language is used and it allows the learner to use the target language in the sense that they would receive more practice. You can develop your language skills by using his method of practicing by speaking the target language and visualizing instances in which you can relate to the meaning like the similarity of beach in Spanish with player. In the way of players walking on the beach.

Bennie Lewis believes in order to completely learn a language you must make it a daily thing. It's not just about notes and classes, it's about speaking and thinking in that language. Like he said, he spent 6 months in Spain and barely knew how to speak Spanish. The problem was he might have been trying, but he wasn't completely surrounding himself with the language. A vital thing when it comes to anything in life, whatever skill you wish to obtain, you truly do have to be committed to making it apart of your life.
